These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website at www.ResilientMeCounseling.com (the “Website”), as well as any services, consultations, or resources provided through the Website (collectively, the “Services”).

2. Use of the Website
The Website is for informational purposes only and provides details about our counseling practice, services, and resources. You may not use the Website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Website at any time without notice.
3. Services and Appointments
Appointments must be booked through our secure online portal or by contacting us directly. We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a $100 fee. No-show appointments will incur a full session fee. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in a shortened session or rescheduling at our discretion. All services are provided by licensed professionals in accordance with Florida state laws and ethical standards.
4. Payment Terms
Fees are due at the time of service unless prior arrangements are made. We accept credit/debit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and electronic payments. A 3.5% fee applies to all credit/debit card transactions. Outstanding balances older than 30 days may incur a 1.5% monthly late fee. We do not offer refunds for completed sessions.
5. Confidentiality and Privacy
All client information is confidential and protected under HIPAA and state privacy laws. Exceptions to confidentiality include: imminent harm to self or others (disclosure to prevent harm); child or elder abuse suspicion (report to authorities); and court order or subpoena (compliance with legal requirements). 6. Telehealth Services
Sessions may be conducted via secure video conferencing platforms. You are responsible for ensuring a private location with no interruptions or overhearing, a stable internet connection with minimum 5 Mbps upload/download speed, and using a secure device with no shared or public computers. You consent to telehealth by scheduling and participating in virtual sessions. Emergency situations require calling 911 or visiting the nearest emergency room.
7. Limitation of Liability
Counseling services are not a substitute for emergency medical care. We provide professional guidance based on information you share, but results are not guaranteed. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resilient Me Counseling LLC, its therapists, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific session in question.
8. Termination
We may terminate services at any time for any reason, including non-payment, disruptive behavior, or ethical concerns. You may discontinue services at any time, subject to payment of outstanding fees.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, and materials, is owned by Resilient Me Counseling LLC or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Duval County, Florida.
